Over the last few weeks, Year 5 have visited Kielder, Corbridge and Tynemouth to conduct fieldwork as part of their Rivers topic.

They sketched the different features at each part of the river, as well as looking the differences in land use. During their visit to Corbridge, they investigated river speed by timing how long it took a dog biscuit to travel along the river. 
 

As you can see from the photos, the weather was glorious!
