What can we find out about Henry VII from his portraits?
This afternoon we have been answering this enquiry question by studying different portraits of Henry VIII. We held an identity parade and decided who we thought the real Henry was only to find out they were all portraits of Henry VII!
We discovered that Henry’s portraits from the 1530s were the ones used the most as this was when he was most powerful as head of the church and state and how he wanted to be remembered.
