Hindu Temple visit

Year 5 had an extremely interesting visit to a local Hindu Temple this morning. They found out about the temple itself as well as different aspects of the Hindu religion. They were lucky enough to see prayer time which was conducted by the Hindu Temple priest.

After exploring the Temple, Year 5 had the opportunity to take part in some meditating which has many benefits including improving memory when done regularly.

The Temple kitchen feeds up to 300 people on a weekly basis bringing the whole community together.
