This week in Year 3 the children have been testing the hand-crafted solar ovens that they created last week. When doing so, the children were required to carry out a range of observations over a period of time as well as take a number of different measurements i.e. use thermometers to measure the temperature of their ovens, record the time of the day they took said measurements etc., before interpreting their data and sharing their findings with the rest of the class.

They then concluded their investigations by discussing whether their findings supported their enquiry questions and predictions, before each writing a conclusion and eating their melted, or not so melted, sugary treats!
