This morning Year 3 took part in a time-themed treasure hunt which required them to locate a number of clock faces and correctly identify the times displayed on them. To do this, they had to use their knowledge of telling the time (quarter to and quarter past) to be able read the clocks, before representing the times they had found through drawing the hands on a selection of blank clock faces and/or recording the time in words i.e. “quarter past three”.
