In literacy, Reception have been reading the traditional folk tale “The little red hen”. The children have enjoyed retelling the story using puppets and have completed lots of amazing writing; identifying initial sounds of the characters names, sequencing pictures and writing shopping lists to make bread. They were able to follow directions to make their own bread for snack. It was very yummy
