They set up an experiment in which they mummified tomatoes in a similar way to how the Ancient Egyptians mummified people thousands of years ago. They even scooped out the insides like the organs would of been scooped out! We then observed the changes after 4 days to see what happened to the tomatoes.

They were able to identify and classify the different types of teeth and the different jobs they are used for in the digestive system, and labelled them on their models. They finished off with a tasty snack after their hard work.

They used different shapes to create the small mosaic tiles and positioned them in beautiful patterns before putting them through the printing press. The results look fantastic!

We got very messy and sticky and enjoyed adding the saliva enzymes and stomach acid to our broken down food, squeeeeeezing it through the intestines to get all of the nutrients out, before dropping it into the toilet!

We researched the different pictures and patterns that would usually be seen on Ancient Greek vases and included picture of Greek myths and geometric patterns in our own designs. They helped organise and sort bags of clothes and shoes into the correct sizes and grouped them into schools so that when people visit the shop they’ll be able to pick what they need with ease.

We will be updating parents when the scheme confirm their regular dates so families can visit to buy uniforms.
