Jeans for Genes : DNA code crackers!
Year 5 have been using a code cracker wheel to decode sequences of DNA into protein sequences. They then matched these sequences to the protein cards to find out what these proteins do.

Orienteering in Year 5
This morning Year 5 had a taster session in orienteering where they were taught some orienteering skills. They had to use maps of the school playgrounds to plan their route in order to locate different points.
