    Our Reception children have settled wonderfully into school life. They have shown fantastic resilience and independence skills. We have spent the last few weeks getting to know each other and are looking forward to the year ahead.

    From a Tadpole to a Frog

    The children in Reception have been learning about the life cycle of a frog. They have developed a range of new vocabulary and can explain the changes that take place as a tadpole turns into a frog. The children have also enjoyed playing in the new minibeast garden role play area.

    Hall Hill Farm

    Reception have had a fantastic day visiting Hall Hill Farm. The children fed and held a selection of animals, enjoyed a tractor ride and played in the park.

    Reception have throughly enjoyed their dinosaurs theme this week, The children have enjoyed creating dinosaur kingdoms, nests for eggs and have also produced a fantastic volcano which later erupted!
